Japanese

Japan is one of the countries, which has rich culture and strong economic power. Yutta Academy’s Japanese curriculum follows guidelines provided by Japan’s Ministry of Education.

Yutta Academy’s Japanese curriculum covers the five strands of the Japanese Language arts, which are reading, writing, speaking, listening, and viewing (visual literacy).
For Japanese Language Arts, Yutta Academy students will study the subjects such as:

  1. Hiragana
  2. Katakana
  3. Romaji (Japanese Phonics)
  4. Handwriting
  5. Chinese characters
  6. Speaking
  7. Reading
  8. Grammar
  9. Writing Composition

The subjects that a student studies varies depending on his or her grade level, for instance, a pre-k child will only learn to identify hiragana from pictures, do not learn Chinese characters. For high school students, reading and writing composition are the focus of the courses.

Let’s help your child become a Japanese master and be able to communicate with more people in the world to gain more opportunities on business, jobs and other aspects in his or her life!
